Legal Framework and Scope

Personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia (Official Gazette of the RS, No. 87/2018) and, where applicable, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This policy applies to the Website and direct communication with SIND. The Website is primarily intended for business and professional users interested in new, used and refurbished industrial meat processing machines and equipment.

Depending on how you contact us, we may process the following categories of information:

• the first and last name of the contact person;
• e-mail address, telephone number and other contact details;
• company name, address and business details you voluntarily provide;
• details of the selected machine, inquiry content, quotation requests and business communication history;
• information needed for arrangements, invoicing, transport, delivery, installation, servicing or complaints when a transaction proceeds;

Depending on the processing activity, the legal basis may be taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, SIND's legitimate interests or your consent where required. Are You Required to Provide Information?

Providing information through the Website is voluntary. However, without basic contact details and information about the requested machine, we may be unable to answer your inquiry, prepare an appropriate quotation or complete the agreed transaction. Required fields are identified in the relevant form.

Who May Receive the Information

Information is available only to authorised SIND employees and associates who need it for their work. Where necessary, we may share a limited set of information with trusted hosting, IT and e-mail providers, accounting or professional advisers, and trusted logistics partners for arranging transport and delivery.

Service providers may process information only to perform the assigned service and subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may disclose information to a competent authority where required by law or a valid order.

SIND does not sell, rent or exchange personal data for third-party marketing purposes.

Because SIND operates and arranges deliveries worldwide, information necessary for a specific shipment may be shared with a logistics partner in the destination country. Some digital service providers may also process technical data outside the Republic of Serbia. Where such a transfer is necessary, appropriate safeguards are applied in accordance with applicable law.

How Long We Keep Information

We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. The period depends on the type of inquiry, the course of business negotiations, performance of a contract and the retention periods required by accounting, tax and other applicable laws.

When information is no longer required and there is no legal basis for further retention, it is deleted, anonymised or permanently restricted from use.
